The PA-DIM Joint Owners Group invites you to participate in our upcoming PlugFest.

This event is designed to evaluate pre-release products that support the Process Automation Device Information Model (PA-DIM) using OPC UA technology. It provides an excellent opportunity to test your products alongside those from other suppliers in a collaborative environment.

We are specifically seeking instruments, clients, and servers that support PA-DIM. If your company has a commercial product or a product in development that meets these criteria, we encourage you to attend.

If your company does not have technology to evaluate at the PlugFest, please decline this invitation. A summary of the PlugFest will be shared during the End User and Supplier PA-DIM Forum on March 4th and 5th.

During the event, developers will assess their products for conformance with PA-DIM guidelines, as defined in OPC UA specifications and by standards organizations. Key evaluation criteria include constructs such as ITagNameplate, IVendorNameplate, IDeviceHealth, IAdministrationType, ISignalSet, and others.

Suppliers will be assigned test windows to collaborate with other suppliers, ensuring each instrument works with each host and vice versa.
To register for the PlugFest, please complete the registration form below, including protocol details and the PA-DIM version supported. Once registered, we will provide further information. If you are not the correct contact, please forward this email to the appropriate engineering personnel.

Sean Vincent of FieldComm Group and Ronny Becker of Bilfinger will act as the PlugFest coordinators for the event. Specific technical questions about participation can be addressed to them.
